5 reasons why hemp is the plant of the future

Hemp is an amazing plant with a variety of uses. It is an eco-friendly, sustainable plant that has been used by humans for thousands of years.

It is the same species as cannabis, but unlike cannabis, hemp contains very low levels of THC, the compound that alters your mind.

Hemp was unfairly targeted in the 1930s because of its similarity to cannabis, because of this, its use declined around the world. In 2018, the plant was legalized in the United States, and has since led to a boom in hemp production & innovation.

There are many key benefits of using hemp, here are 5 reasons why we believe its the plant of the future!

1. Hemp has been used for thousands of years to make paper, rope cloth and fuel

2. Hemp uses much less water than cotton.

3. It’s a versatile plant that produces food packed with vitamins, to durable textiles, and strong building materials

4. It removes toxins from the soil as it grows, it's even been used in the lands around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant to remove radioactive contaminants
